Latchkey Day Care & Learning Centre
Welcome to Latchkey Day Care and Learning Centre. We are looking forward to getting to know you and your child. Our professional staff is excited to be sharing in your child’s development and day care experience. We provide a positive and caring day care experience while supporting your child’s education and development within all of our licensed day care locations.
Latchkey Day Care has been providing licensed care for the past 20 years to school age children in our “Before and After School” program, during Summer Vacation, March Break and PD days.
We also offer a half day JK/SK Learning Centre Early Learning Program at Our Lady of Mount Carmel in South Windsor. A full day alternating program is available at the following schools: Sacred Heart in LaSalle and St. Pius in Tecumseh.
Latchkey Day Care Philosophy
The aim of our “Before and After School” Day Care Program and Learning Centre Program is to provide quality care that fosters the growth and development of the total child; socially, emotionally, and physically all within an enriched learning environment.
Warm and friendly surroundings are offered so every child will enjoy attending and experiencing everything we provide to broaden a child’s imagination and experiences. We are committed to meeting the needs of each child and recognize the importance of individual support for all age groups.
A variety of activities and equipment are used to encourage and enhance learning. All Latchkey Day Care Programs meet the needs of each child by offering experiences and opportunities that promote interests, individuality and expression within group settings. The experiences encourage co-operation, a sense of responsibility, and promotes friendship and respect towards others.
Parents/Guardians are welcome to visit and tour the programs during regular operation hours. Please make arrangements with the Program Supervisor.
